Molly McGrath would not let go of the microphone as ESPN's sideline reporter for the Sugar Bowl and college football fans on social media took notice of it too in what ended up being an awkward postgame interview. McGrath asked her first question, with Sugar Bowl president Walter Becker asking her if she would hold the mic. When she confirmed, which is the norm in broadcasting, Becker decided to palm it anyway and not let go.
