When Justin Baldoni married his Swedish wife Emily, his vows began with an extraordinary apology for 'anything I've ever said or done that has hurt you'. The film director, 40, said he was sorry for his 'faults, shortcomings, insecurities and my ego' at their Midsummer Night's Dream-themed nuptials just outside Los Angeles in 2013. But as tears rolled down his face he promised to 'cherish, listen to you, honour you and respect you'.
