An infamous cartel boss has been killed by Mexican police just days after the organised gang shot dead multiple people in a cockfight bloodbath. Jose 'El Chabelo' Isabel was the boss of the Sinaloa Cartel in the city of Manzanillo which is also the home of Mexico's busiest port. The New York Post reported that Isabel and an unnamed accomplice have been gunned down by Mexican police. Isabel was already wanted by the authorities on a homicide warrant before the fatal encounter.
