Tenerife's& locals have been fuming that they're "fed-up" of "low high quality" Brit tourists who solely come for a budget beer, burgers and sunbathing.

Now, they're demanding a vacationer tax, less flights to the island and a clampdown on foreigners buying houses.

They declare that AirBnBs and different holiday leases are driving up the cost of dwelling and that they're sick of the noise, visitors and garbage that accompany the avalanche of vacationers that go to yearly.

It follows a wave of latest anti-tourist graffiti that has been sprayed across the island to tell Brits they don't seem to be welcome.

Bitter messages outdoors tourism hotspots read "your paradise, our distress" and "vacationers go residence".

"Locals are pressured to move out and YOU are answerable for that," stated a livid printed signal.

But they have been only a warning of what locals hope is to return as residents petition the island's authorities to enact new measures to curb tourism.

On Tuesday, a protest is planned in Santa Cruz as campaigners will lay out their demands and maintain a march.

Later this month, a second larger protest is deliberate by social and environmental groups who need to shield pure hotspots and create harder laws for foreigners buying properties.

Tech worker Ivan Cerdeña Molina, 36, is helping to organise the protests.

He informed The Mail: "It's a crisis, we've to vary issues urgently, individuals are dwelling of their automobiles and even in caves, and locals can't eat, drink or stay nicely.
