Himmel stated he acquired a notification from PNC that stated the password to his online account had been changed, in response to Penn Live.

He then claimed he was despatched one other message from his bank that stated a telephone number had been added to online banking.&

Himmel also stated a Zelle account had been created together with his account.

The account holder alleged that these modifications had not been made by him and explained he contacted his financial institution.

Himmel stated that his financial institution gave him a set of instructions to comply with that might shield his money.&

This reportedly included altering his password, username, and deleting the added telephone number and the Zelle account.

Regardless of this, Himmel claimed $9,000 was unexpectedly taken out of his account two days later.

PNC later refunded the money to Himmel but the buyer stated he was shocked by his ordeal.

The account holder stated that a PNC employee informed him that someone had walked right into a branch with ID and a bank card with Himmel's identify on it.

This incident supposedly occurred at a location in Silver Spring Township and the person took out the $9,000.

"It's scary for me to assume I put my money right into a financial institution and someone walks in and takes all of it," he stated.

Though his money was returned, Himmel defined why he was upset at his financial institution.

"Anyone with a PNC account knows that security there's not working," he stated.

"Their entire system was breached.
