The nightclub was on the ground flooring of a 16-story residential constructing within the Besiktas district on the European aspect of the town bisected by the Bosphorus.

The victims have been believed to be concerned in the renovation work.
Authorities detained five individuals for questioning, including managers of the membership and one individual answerable for the renovations, Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc stated.
