Alexander: Trump's Ukraine actions 'wrong,' 'inappropriate,' but not impeachable

Sen. Lamar Alexander stated in an upcoming interview it was “crossing the line” for President Donald Trump to delay almost $400 million in assist to Ukraine to drive the country to research the Biden household's actions there.

Alexander was an important vote Friday towards bringing in new witnesses in Trump’s impeachment trial, which Democrats argued might have provided new details concerning the president's choice to delay help to Ukraine.

“The individuals is my conclusion,” he stated when pressed by Todd. We're saying, ‘Inform him he can't run in the 2020 election which begins Monday in Iowa.’”

Alexander stated no extra evidence was needed to show the president froze the aid.
